Staff Scheduler App
RTO Scheduler is a full-fledged web and mobile app built using power apps, flow, and sharepoint. The motivation to build this app was to provide an graphical and intuitive way to plan one’s interactions with colleagues if and when they happen to choose to work in the office.

Description
The calendar is at the center of this app. The challenge was to simply and intuitively display when staff would be present in the office. Nuances include the ability to differentiate between the standard weekly schedule (often determined by the managers) and the autonomy of individual staff to vary this schedule from week to week. Further refinements include the abilty to notify and send email reminders once individual staff members make changes to their schedule. Add-ons include the abilty of office administrators to update individuals as new staff are hired, assign COVID coordinators on a weekly basis, and set capacity limits in offices for which staff can reserve time to come in. For example, the soft-opening phase required a maximum of 30% of the staff to be able to reserve. This was eventually ramped up to 100%.
